The British Bulldog Pub brings a breath of fresh air as well as some typically British Pub culture to Shanghai.

About us
The partners of this new venture are no strangers to Shanghai, having between them spent some 30 years living and working in the city, with the majority of this time being spent in and around the Food and Beverage industry.

The British Bulldog Pub aims at the bullseye of what constitutes a traditional British Pub. The décor of wood, brass, captains chairs and button hole stools with the good old 60's 70's and 80's music transport you back to a quite essentially British Atmosphere. Our first floor Bulldog bar is a fusion of an authentic and traditional British public house and is topped with a fine selection of British ales on tap. The British Bulldog Pub has also introduced Mc Ewans IPA, as an exclusive ale from the UK for our discerning customers palate. In keeping with our traditional British pub theme our games room is to be found on the second floor where pool, darts, table football and live sports on our big screen are the order of the day. It is our intention to reserve our third floor for the exclusive use of both private and corporate individuals who wish to hold functions, seminars, training workshops etc.

Our food sticks to the simple traditional and hearty home made fayre from ploughman's lunches to fish and chips , Cornish pasties , bangers and mash , and home made steak and kidney pies to mention but a few.

The Bulldog's Aim
Our aim is to offer our guests a relaxing escape from the fast paced city we know as Shanghai, a place where existing friendships are maintained and new acquaintances made over a beer and some traditional British fayre. In keeping with this theme it is our intention to constantly provide and maintain a standard of service that reflects the very best of all that makes the traditional British pub so attractive to locals and visitors alike.
